Hi All,
I'm having problems getting my 2000 P38 off the bump stops.

Access light permantly illuminated whilst the standard ride light is flashing. No obvious sounds of escaping air and the pump is working fine.

I recently changed the rear wheel due to a flat and shortly after this the problem occurred. Further more, prior to the flat I had experienced two occasions when the ride height went to the roof and would not come down until I stopped and switched the motor off.

Any ideas anybody?

How old is the pump?? Sounds like the pump is producing no air. The seal has probably worn and it wont come off the bumps because there is no air in the tank.

Have you checked for any leaks?? What is the state of the bags. Are they cracked or holding air?

You can buy new a new seal for the pump if its worn. As I said, how old is the pump??

DONT let it sit there too long try to raise otherwise it will hard fault.

Wills,

The damn thing rose up this morning and maintained its hight after a week of refusing to!

I very much doubt that this will be the last of it.

Thanks for the feedback.
