air suspension problem

hi all , could anyone please give me some advise on my 2000 p38 suspension , it is taking a long time to pressure up (20 mins) after it is up if i turn the car off it the front n/s drops onto the bump stop, can't hear any leaks. I'm assuming its the bags but was wondering if anything else could go wrong before i replace them , i don't have any warning lights but the pump seems to be on all the time when the engine is running

Check the How to in the technical section above this forum for steps in diagnosing the problem

If your air bags are gone change all four if there the same age, as if ones gone the other will not be far behind.

It may not be the bags it could be any of the pipes and I'm not sure but I don't think the pup should be running continually why the engines running

You have a leak on the front near side and the compressor has gone knackered feeding the leak. Find the leak fix it, refurb compressor as required, take note of post #2
