Air suspension possible problem

Hi. Just recently the air compressor on my d2 will buzz loudly on and off usually 4 times at 1 second intervals when i stop and switch the ingition off???
Doesn't do it every time though.
Apart from this all seems to be working correctly ie: no warning lights/sits nice and level/doesn't sag if left parked for long periods and raises and lowers correctly using the height adjustment button on the dash.
Any ideas?????

It happens to some of them(not to all) without having effect in the system's normal behaviour even though it's not normal, it's a LR oddity which needs deep investigations... my theory is that the slabs gets a false engine speed signal somehow but i couldnt make tests as mine doesnt do it

if you dont have tester and serious electronist skills better learn to live with it untill somebody comes with a clear and verified answer

Mine does it regularly. A pulsing / groaning noise after switching off for maybe 6 - 8 seconds? Hard to describe but Ive had mine 8 1/2 years and its done it most of that time seemingly with no ill effect. Its just an idiosyncrasy of the model. Dont worry about it!
