Driving home tonight the air suspension light came on . This happened on the motorway. Stopped at next junction switched off.
When started up again light stayed of until a right turn at exit then light on again.
Anyone got any ideas what may cause this please

Probably a faulty sensor, you need to plug in a testor to check the readings

i disagree with the sensor theory(which doesnt mean to neglect it;))......a sensor fault would have ended with uneven height or completely dropped back imo

check the relay first(R5 engine bay) , swap with R3(headlamp wash) for test and see if the light still comes on or not...if it does the tester is the best way to find the fault(though i suspect the compressor or it's wiring to be open circuit while the system wanted to inflate)

Yes sierrafery you are right to point that out , after I re-read my reply I thought DOH!!! It would be sitting uneven. I wasjusttesting that you were awake :D

Ok my bad the light was the ACE
So changed the filter which I think was never done before
New fluid run throughout
Been over a week now and no warning light so far
Test showed sticking valve
So maybe new filter and fluid did the trick
Fingers crossed
