just come up on the dash turned steering left and right and checked all doors are working any clues

to be fair it had a new battery on the other month when the light came on the dash, but I now think its a bad earth or alternator on its way out as it comes on intermitantly, and having a cold snap would of been hard on it aswell

lock to lock has to be done from a fresh engine start before moving or doing anything else...trust you have done this?

if so, diagnostics is next

If the charge warning light comes on,the alternator is fecked or there is a bad connection, it's not a battery problem.
