Hello All,

Seems that it is time to change my air springs as yesterday when I stopped the car the left side sit fully down on the wheel! After starting the car again the height gone back to normal and kept this level overnight.
This is the first time when this happens but since I own the car (more than a year now) the left side is always 10mm below the right one (when the engine is off). Could it also be the height sensor?
Other question. If I order new bags, original LR or Dunlop is also ok?

Thanks

had donlops on mine for about 5 years tow a twin wheel van with a Inflatable boat and outboard engine in the back of the landy never had any problems

Dunlops are working well for me a year on from fitting . Real easy to fit with the push fit fittings rather than the old olive/nut one . Just trim back the pipe and push fit to new spring. just remember to disconnect the batt so as not to mess the levelling sensors up . And make shaw get or that the new springs come with the little retaining clips as when taking off the old ones they tend to bust

Use the custom search do-dab at the top of the page and look for Battenbergs Disco II air suspension definitive guide. Well worth a quick read before you start.

Just be careful inflating the new bags. Slightest sign of them not going up straight, stop. De-flate bag, adjust and start again.

Drivers side is easy to keep an eye on as you stand with hand on ignition key, so is easy to catch if it starts going wrong.

Other side, either get an assistant ready to cut the engine while you keep an eye on the bag, or do as I did (after it all went totally wrong) and run the engine for 2 seconds at a time. Yes, 2 seconds at a time until bag is inflated.

Believe me, you do not want an un-folded bag.

if something goes wrong a trick is to open any door if you want the compressor to stop while engine is running ... so you dont have to kill the ignition switch or hop in and out of the car;)

Thanks again for all advices!
Since saturday when the problem happened, the car stays stable, no any leak/drop in height can be seen. I have reaised it to high position, no issue, kept the level.
Anyway, I have already planned to change the bags, so I will order them and change as they arrive.
