air flow ???? help

can anyone help ive got a k plate v8 disco its had new plugs leads dizzy rotor and water pump ? but still seems to be running or feels like fueling wrong when braking for a roundabout if you catch it wrong the revs drop very low and often stall when clutching in to change or stop.also sometimes feels wooly ( couldnt think of a better word ) when revving to pull away from standing and again can stall if not caught just right but when this happens it takes ages to start even with no throttle it seems to flood ( can smell fuel when trying ) starting to taint my ideal dream of a landy please help

Is that a carb or fuel injection motor?

Sorry, if it was carbs, i would have suggested the floats and needle valves.......... I'm unsure with this new fangled thing called Fuel injection.
