Probably in the wrong area for this thread....but i have only just noticed that hippo is missing one vital pipe on the a/c....at first i thought it was an outlet pipe.....but now i know better....it is the pipe that comes from the condenser (middle of the radiator area) and goes to the top of the compressor...

Now my question is.. is it easy to get one from a scrapper or to get one brand new? And how easy to fit and then to charge the system.....or should i pull all fuses for the a/c circuit and get a blanking plate for the switch and pretend it doesn't exist?

The pipe is available, but it's best to get it to a professional AC engineer to sort out. You'll need a new dryer for the system and maybe even a compressor, as it's been open to the atmosphere for an unknown length of time.

Thanks for the reply, looks like i am going to disable the a/c then, as the hippo was only going to be a cheap project car for running g dogs about
