My td5 has just had an aircon failure simply stopped working turns out the pump clutch is not engaging fuses are all o.k. And relay is also functioning so any ideas much appreciated

Take out the diode and check with a multimeter setted on ohm both ways.....it has to be a big difference between measurements......if they are close then the diode is "pierced" and bypasses the clutch(albeit in this case i think it normally blowes the fuse, rather interrupted) .....if it's goog then its or a wiring issue or the clutch's coil itself.........unlikely but could be a management failure too considering that the ACE ECU and the ECM are both involved(hope not)

Further developments turns out that after following advise on another thread the leek is on the pipe that goes from the left hand side of the engine bay through the front bulkhead up to the condenser behind the grille who is the best supplier of this part and how does the grille come away thanks for any help
