Retrofitting an aircon is a difficult and expensive undertaking.....not to say it can't be done, but certainly not for the inexperienced. Not usually just a case of "plugging in " missing components, although of course if the aircon was originally fitted and then just disabled its a different matter and much easier. Is this a model entirely without aircon from the factory, or was it just partly removed/ no interior controls etc?

If you did manage to install the components, you would need a HEVAC interior control unit and the BECM would need to be programmed as well. Assuming this car was never built with an aircon, you would have add all the blend motors, the condensor etc etc and it would seem that the task would be huge and all but impossible unless you have full access to an incredibly well equipped workshop with knowledgeable techies.

There are however third party add-on retrofit aircons available out there - at a price -
but they are generally not incredibly efficient unless you get one of the cab-top units like those used in motor caravans.

If you absolutely have to have an aircon, you'd be better off selling your vehicle and buying another with aircon - a word of warning, though, P38 aircons are expensive to fix and maintain!!!!!
