Good morning,
musty smell that catches your throat on start up - after a search on here thought that I should clean the air con. Got a cleaning 'bomb' and it says to switch to recirculate and then set it off behind the passenger seat. I want to make sure I get a real good disinfection of all parts of the system. Where are the intakes for the recirculated air? (ie. not fresh through the pollen filters) Should I squirt a bit in the pollen filters anyway? Should I run it cold as poss?
thanks

When I did mine I remover the pollen filters and sprayed into the inlets then put it on recirculate. The aerosol I used stopped spraying when I released the button. When I did the Jag the aerosol was a one press and it didn't stop until it was empty. The label on the can sail to set the A/C on full, recirculate and put it in the pass. footwell, shut the door and run.:)

Recirculation flaps, motors and inlet are in the inlet from the intake plenum behind the heater blowers.

Thanks chaps - seems that I can squirt a bit and then lock the aerosol on, so I'll do a bit into the fresh air intakes and then do the recirculation too
Here goes...
