New to forum so say hi leafers.

Had my first 88" for a year now. 'TUY' was petrol , but now converted 200di via Glencoyne Engineering in Thetford on bog standard springs, M&T tyres.
She's been in Herefordshire tugging horse boxes most of her life and has had the tub drivers side cut back for extra leg room, oh and military tank.OD fitted. She's favourite.

Second 88" 'CFU' is a standard 5mb 2.25 diesel with OD and parabolics but with the old oil shockers, Wolf steels wearing 6.25 Colways, so it's high and slow but a tad less harsh ride wise. Better when warm but hopeless getting out of the village up a 1 in 6 when cold.

I was going to 200di it myself but along came...

Third 88" 'GDA' all done, (bought unseen off ebay) 200tdi with 300tdi intercooler, Steve Parker exhaust, parabolics gas shocks and big fat tyres.

In between then have acquired 3 engines, a Turner gas flowed 2.25 petrol, a J12 turbo out of an E reg 90, and another 200tdi from a broken disco project and a set of of unused shiney leaf springs, a pair of 3.5 diffs, and 2 sets of defender wheels/tyres.

Since I like to drive'em and dread seeing them reduced to a pile of bits, the idea is to fiddle about with one leaving a main driver and a weekend mud plugger spare.

But which one?

The missus knows about one of 'em!

What else do I need to be a proper series nut!?

Hi there, I love the 88's but alas I have just bought a Discovery 200tdi. Getting used to driving it now. I hope you can put some pics up for us to see them.
