Hi all Im new ( obviously!) and have always had Landys for towing my horsebox around, have my first Disco 300tdi, 1996 so far so good.

now you see the words "lady" and "aged" make me think it might be better if you stay out of anything goes, it gets a bit boisterous in there sometimes.

She's safe at the moment as Storm is going through his liking of ladies of the lessor aged persuasion phase.

Much to the relief of the rest of us.
 
Hi there. I also drive a Landy and am aged (I originally got a Defender for transporting the dogs).
 
Malamute: 50 kg
Border collie: 17 kg
Mixed breed: 12 kg
This aged lady: rather not say

Weeel wummin, I aint aged I'm only 59, but I'm also Perfshire so welcome and have fun.

I used to tow a neebur's gee-gee for her a few years ago when I had a ex-army landie way back in the '70's, I even rescued a few of her mates when they had problems getting their cuddies home.

I remember one case, a close friend of my neighbour had a horse which had been neglected and it had just about turned ferral, my neighbour worked
with the horse for many weeks/months and eventually got him almost tame again, but he hated to get boxed, especially when he was feeling stroppy.

After a show near Lennoxtown I'd taken a couple of peeps animals home and went back for this beastie. It took us hours to get him in the box, but the bit I remember was the woman's expression when I said to walk him over to a tree and I'd reverse the box under him (I was joking) but the puir wifie took me seriously, it was hilarious.

Even my neighbour found it funny and we laughed about it for ages ... after we'd dropped her friend off, of course.
 
Thanks for the welcome :) me knee anyone in the ollocks - nah, knees have carpet burns so cant oblige - but for a small fee I could be persuaded.;-) Old lechers - on my way!
