Can anyone recommend a decent quality parking sensor kit, I just want a bleeper type no flashing displays etc.
I bought a Cisbo one and fitted it but it gives out loads of random bleeps rendering it almost useless, I don'd think any of the £10 - 20 ones are much different, so I wondered if someone has used a bit better quality one and found it works well, appreciate any input on this.
Did think about a wireless camera one because I don't want cable everywhere but they seem to get some bad reviews.

Ok what is the deal about parking sensors or back up cameras. What ever happen to being a safe driver and use you mirrors, both side and rear view and turning you head to look out the back window. I had a loaner car from the dealers a couple weeks ago that had that backup camera, screen thingy and I hated it. I was not doing a instrument certification for a light aircraft, but felt like it:eek::rolleyes:

if its available why not use it, bit like calculators, cameras on your phone, TV remote controls. Sure we can live without them but why?
By the way its a bad move to take these as a substitute for safe driving better as an aid towards.

I fitted a budget £7.99 set from Ebay to my base spec D3. It worked without any random bleaps which was a surprise. The latest set (different make) I've fitted to my Freelander are dreadful, mostly because they detect the ground behind the car (slow beeping) distant object. They are OK when getting closer to an object.
I'm thinking of changing them at some point.

I think mine may see the ground, I adjusted the sensitivity and the random bleeps stopped but now they don't sense anything until you are about 18 inches away when they bleep quickly then go to continous tone. I was looking at binning them and getting some more expensive ones like these
