Aftermarket or genuine door handles

Just buying the last of the parts i need to replace once my defender has been resprayed.

Would like to replace the faded door handles, but genuine LR handles are priced up to £30 each

. Seeing as I need 4 for my 110 double cab, then thats quite a lot of wonga£££. Aftermarket are priced about £10

Anyone used aftermarket handles?

i ve painted a few old ones with plastic paint and they look as good as new ....just an idea .. the aftermarket ones tend to flex abit more and the pins holding the spring and button in place fall off ( ive fixed two already )

I bought a Britpart one - it snapped off within a couple of months! Paid the full price for a genuine one after that. Still got a very wobbly lock though - another crappy pattern part

Ok, thanks. Might get one of each and see how they compare. An expensive purchase for a set of genuine, but I dont like the idea of putting my faded ones back onto a freshly painted landy.
