Aftermarket head unit

When I bought my Disco 2 it had a Panasonic head unit replacing the land rover one, as I was working on my seat reclining mechanism this morning I discovered there is a six disc changer under my seat, will this head unit run the six disc changer or am I going to have to buy an original head unit

You'll probably have to get an original head unit, probably the Alpine R990.
Check under the passenger's seat, I think you might find an amplifier too.

Thanks for that, I will have a look when it stops raining, my last v8 Disco 2 had Harmon Kardon sounds, I couldn't eject the changer cassette on this one, will it not eject unless it has a standard head unit?

You done need a head unit.
To remove just press the cassette eject button on the front of the changer, simples.
Assuming you have a12volt supply to the changer.

Yep it is connected but it looks like the cassette is maybe in the wrong way or I have a fuse blown, power fold mirrors are not working either, I can hear the relay click when the button is pressed but no movement
