Hi
here we go again , battery still losing charge , could well be AF reciever, where can I locate this on my P38 4.6 rr, and how can I tell if its the old type or the new type and where if necessary is the best place to buy a replacement

its on drivers side in the boot under panelling at the top.
dont bother repacing it just disconnect the blue wire and then stand close to your car to use the remote.

if that does not work,the r/f is fu#ked.disconect both plugs and use key to open until you get the latest r/f receiver from RANGE ROVER or an indy R/R parts supplier. DO NOT buy one from fleabay,youve no way of telling what you are buying.regards

Just got my new one from Island 4x4 £170 inc and quick delivery. Part number ywy500170 is the one you want.
I agree with tomcat59alan, don't buy one from ebay!
