It is the same thing sorry I just couldn't resist :D :D

Are you sure? I thought multipath was when a direct signal is added to a reflected signal at the aerial, which obviously degrades the quality of the signal i.e. the signal reaching the aerial has travelled via multiple paths.....

So what is going on is a combination of reflection and then interference (two signals added together)...

Refraction is something different - it causes a change in direction of the radio wave when it moves from one medium to another - not that common as most of the time the radio waves are travelling in air!

Cheers

Purely semantics, the end result is the same, a distorted signal caused by the original signal splitting up and interferring with itself ...... oooer mrs :D

i have no radio reception since a valet does any one know where the aerial connetion to the side window is located ??

Since no one is offering sensible answers I will help out. The areial runs down the side of the car and all the way to the back of the dash. I believe it then connects to the back of your radio. Some models have 2 aeriels in which case they both run down the side of the car and they both connect to the back of the radio. Hope this helps.
