hi im new to the forum and to Land Rovers,
I live in France and tomorrow I am going to make a 16 hour round trip to buy and drive home a 1988 defender110 !!
Any advise on what to look for when checking it over and driving it back would be greatly received

Look for rot everywhere.
And make sure it has oil and coolant in it
