advice please just about to buy a P38 hse

went to look at a hse myself the other day, air suspension seemed to work fine but wasnt overall very nice condition

but what a minefield

are p38 really to be avoidied ? how can you buy a good one and what to check for ? as i might still buy one if the right one comes along and cant get a classic

That looks stunning mate, like you I'm new to P38's and I've been loving every day so far.

Prepare to get paranoid though, they make all sorts of whirls and clicks and at first it scared the ****e out of me... but I'm getting used to its little peculiarities now, its all part of the fun!

I've had a lot of trouble with p38's over the years some of the problems have been to do with the electrics so I would say, don't buy 1 with electrical problems and certainly with faults with air suspension because it is very expensive to fix certain bits

If you are reasonably handy, the EAS is dead easy to fix. Only expensive if you have to use a garage.
The electrics on the other hand are undoubtedly poor.
