If it were up to me, I would ask some serious questions first, then listen to the advice of someone who really knows remapping the Td5 ECU.
£60 sound a bit cheap to me.

Suspiciously cheap and while it might be ok it could also lead to loads of problems. I used Mike at Dynachip and have no regrets at all.

I believe that you can send the whole ECU to Mike at Dynachip and he will install the appropriate chip.

What youll be getting is a generic map which will just inject a ton more fuel and cause it to smoke. To be honest I would be weary of the map on the Golf as well.

There's loads on here about remaps but it makes a massive difference on a TD5, well worth the expense!

As said by others,use Mike at Dynachip,the man is a genius with re mapping,he re mapped my TD5 Disco,and the difference in the way it drove,was amazing,and for such a reasonable price.
