Adrian Flux WTF....!!!!!!

I got insured on the AF landyzone quote line for £821 on the 24th of June an my Lannys still not on the motor insurance dater base so I haven't been able to use it for over a week coz they shut at 5 an if I get stopped by the police they will take it for no insurance they said it can take up to 14 days f*****g jokes so I've payed for to weeks issuance of my 90 to sit in the garage

Thats not right, I was insured immediately when I went with Admiral. I asked to make sure of this cos I was wanting to drive the landy on the day (was taxing and collecting it)

They're ****s.
 
I'm 23, 6 Years NCB and 6 points and mine was £550. Limited to 3k miles a year though which suits me fine!

That's with Adrian Fecks mind you

Last week i had my reneawl threw on my disco and like evryone else i tried to see if i could get my quote abit cheaper. Then the lady stated sorry you cant have that price any more as you have told us that you have changed or are going to change your job........But as i kept saying i asked for a quote, so technically i was still window shopping.I guess they don't work like that.

well needless to say i was not best pleased and am really struggling to get a fair price now due to my hounesty.

Anyway sorry for the little moan but i know that theres a Adrian Flux rep who comes on here some times so hopeing he reads this. Just wanted to give people the heads up as well.

Well why's mine not on askmid After 9 days ??? it's a joke I just hope your company knows they will be paying the police recovery fees when my land rover gets took off my by the police it's an absolute joke

The police can only use the MID as an indication as to whether or not a vehicle is insured or not. They cannot seize an insured vehicle simply because it is not on the data base. Until it appears on the database either carry a copy of your insurance certificate or make a note of your policy number and name of your insurance company.

I know that but Adrain flux is shut after 5pm an the law states if you can not prove at the side of the road you have insurance then your car will be seized an lets face it a bit of paper doesn't prove your insured that is why they have/we have MID the police by mine don't give a f**k they will seize it an ask Qs later ( frosty will tell you all about mersyside police) 99% are cnuts ... Phoned flux again today coz still not on an they said it can take up to 14 days convenient that you only get 14 days to cancel if your not happy with the service
 
your getting excited about nothing I have 14 days to put on MID and it can take a week to show up
 
ffs ive never carried proof of insurance in nearly 40 years of driving...dont carry lisence or mot either... as far as im aware you still get 7 days to take it to a police station of your choice.... carrying copies avoids the hassle of the trip to the station... not carrying them may get you let off something if they cant be arsed to do the extra paperwork.

Wow you don't get out much lol the only ticket book they have now is for fines
 
yup, as I can't speak for every police force but I've heard from Humberside and Lincolnshire forces they no longer issue Producers.

As for Adrian Flux, i wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. I found myself off work and on £70 a week ESA a couple of years back. I changed bank accounts and told AF; because they ****ed up the paperwork the change was never issued to the company that takes the installments. Left them DEMANDING £300 in one go in order to stay insured. No way i could afford it so i ended up having the insurance cancelled AND loosing 4 years NCD.
It was only luck that meant my Direct Line policy was ticking over so i managed to get that on the disco.
 
When i was looking to insure the evo 7, i sent AF an email, ****s did not even bother to contact me. PACE WARD all the way now !!!

I'm sorry you have had this problem. Unfortunatley being a Broker, Adrian Flux do not have the facitilty to add a vehicle to the MID it is the Underwriter who has to do it. Please pm me your reference and I will check this today for you. We are open until 5.30 pm in the week and till 4pm on Saturday.
