There are moderators in here, hence Thread about Wammers got moved a few days ago to "Anything goes" which is wot it says on the tin!
Whist most is good humoured and very informative, some banter gets a lil heavy/personal in here at times.........chil-ax, go with the flow!

He does go over the top....muchly! Ignore if you can, but if you feel that strongly report as eg "abusive" or whatever applicable.

Mods have power to remove posts, even ban members , they usually just come back under another user name tho!!

If peeps just ignored all the idiot/offensive threads/posts they'd soon get bored and go away?
 
Aye there are mods in here... but not 24hrs a day.
One of them could be on call outs from work and the other might be doing xmas things with his kids.
The site is pretty much self moderating and we can pretty much sort a lot of the crap out ourselves;):D

The funny thing is.....

the biggest rucks on this forum ahve been caused, by those that objected, by "too many rules" and "overbearing Moderators".

so, i spose yu pays yo money (yu are subscribing arent you?) yu takes yo choice :D

sometimes it gets a bit too much, but if yu think anything is OTT, just hit the
report.gif
at the top rhs of the offending post and it is a hotline to report stuff to the mods. Yu will find the peeps like LRO are only on here to wind peeps up, and they get bored quickly - or get banned.

then peeps complain that they have no "fresh meat"

after joining this site,i had a look round searched afew threads introduced myself and started posting just like when you start drinking in a new pub or start a new job.Sound things out first not just join with, i have a problem ????then get my answer not to be seen again to many noobs do this yes banter can be over the top but sometimes deserved .

Hi Mate All ok over here and no sign of any insured (uninsured) drivers in R****r.
I like a bit of banter goes with my job, but if anyone said what he said at work.......he would have stoppage of chocolate and no friends to play with.

I aint purposely trying to wind folks up "The Mad Hat Man"...!
Like I said before, I joined LZ as it seemed like it had a wealth of knowledge that I thought I could contribute to and learn.
I.......like most folks on here enjoy Landys, I run one as my daily and I''m restoring two just now.
I've restored a few cars in my time but don't know everything, LZ upon recommendation seemed the forum to join for help if and when I needed it.
I must say after reading back some posts there is tonnes of info on here.
I'm really impressed by it and impressed by the camaraderie.
However there seems to be a few folk that like to start a wind up and when it gets a bit too much for them the teddies start flying out the pram.
I''m new here but hope to contribute over the next few months as I progress with my builds. I''m sure the **** will get ripped but I'll be fooked if I''m gonna let a couple of **** stirrers load the barrel to get me shot out of here..
I appreciate being a member of LZ and will help promote it as much as I can in my neck of the woods.

All the best fellow LZ members..Merry Xmas and may the New Year bring you Landy reliability ............. Rant over...:D

Those rules are default and were written by the forum software developers. (vBulletin) So yes, they probably mean nothing.

There's a few illiterate morons on here though. Just ignore them or confuse them with words that will explode their brains!
