I've got in the bits to install 3 gauges in the Mud small console top box. There have been quite a few posts on this but just wanted a bit more advice:
1. Turbo gauge - installing using a T-pice in the small waste - gate line
2. Oil pressure gauge - I have a tee-piece to put in where the oil pressure warning light sensor goes
3. Oil temperature - this is the tricky one, the sensor is too long for the tee-piece and I suppose it needs to be in the oil flow. Any ideas of a better way of doing it? I see there are oil filter sandwich plates that can be cheaply purchased but have no idea whether these work on the Landy and what size to get.
All help gratefully received. Jim

could the sump be drilled and have threads cut/welded to allow the temperature to be inserted in the oil level?

I've seen tapped sump plugs that would do the trick but assumed electrics and protrusions low down might not be such a good idea. Nice and simple though, I'll look into it. Thanks for quick response.

Jim post some pics of what you have. There might be way of getting a spacer or another adaptor for the oil pressure sensor. Is it the probe that's too long or the threads?

The sandwich pate goes between the the oil filter housing and block on the 300tdi and is a clean install...but that's the 300tdi.

Here are my gauges which I will install in my 110 300tdi. I have most of the inlet supplies figured out.

These are all electronic which makes it a lot easier to install and program.
