Right, as winter is approaching and i struggle to find willing gate openers when green-laning due to the lack of heating in the series i'm thinking of ways to make it a bit warmer...

My current plan is this:

Buy a heater matrix (from scrap yard, anything) T into radiator pipes and connect up to heater martrix - through a simple valve to turn on / off
Put heater matrix inside truck cab and just let it radiate heat.

Will this work? Can you just T-piece into the radiator pipes to steal hot water?

I can't see any point complicating things with fans and ducting, just bascially make a radiator inside the truck cab. Maybe with a bit of heat shielding so i don't melt the surroundings directly around the heater matrix.

Thanks.

So there are no issues to just adding another heater to the water pipes then, not going to put too much strain on the water pump / wholes system?
