just has a major mot failure my ace pipes are corroded and leaking ive been quoted £600 for the parts alone !! lts been suggested that i could remove the ace completely from the car . has anyone got any experience of this and any idea of pit falls !!

Who on earth quoted you £600 to replace the pipes??? It's a fairly easy and inexpensive fix.....so i'm confused. Anyay....be interested to know how you get on.....

inexpensive !!!! the pipes are 6 x £79 and 2 at £50 plus vat thats with out all the new collets etc then 4 hours labour on top if you can get it done for a lot less youve got the job

Hi, the almost 10 years old statement is:

I had mine done about 3 or 4 months ago and the quoted price is accurate, but it is well worth doing as the ACE system works brilliantly.
