ace fault code

Hi, discos been to local garage just to check engine with there computer, they checked ace system and got code 00047, alongside it said low pressure, can anyone tell me what the fault code pin points, the ace warning light works correctly, cheers folks

0047 is Fault With The Residual Pressure Value so ace block

first of all clean the filter from the bottom of the valve block and replace the pressure transducer www.discovery2.co.uk / ACE amber light - Pressure Transducer ... if these will not cure it check the ACE fluid(only if u use ATF ).... if you observe like it's foaming i'm affraid the pump is on it's way out


i'm sure that you'll soon get several advices to convert it to conventional arb's

Hi, thanks for the info, the fault code could not be deleted, but I have know warning lights on, the ace light comes on for 2 seconds red then turns amber and goes out with the ignition on, I would of thought the warning light would of come on if the ecu stored the fault code, thanks phil

What reader did they use
May be an old code and their reader might not have the capability to clear the fault

Hi it was a general car reader a Logitech I think, it's about 2 years old, I know the garage well and they let me check the car for free, it read all the ecus but saw the fault 0047 on ace system, but the tester could not clear the fault, thanks phil

if the warning light is not on(which i thought it was after your first post) just forget about it, it's probably hystorical
