HI
I am having trouble with the ace block,to start with I have replaced the rear ace pipes as the old ones were bad an very rusty. Now I have come to the block I have removed the old seals only to find that the ports are very corroded, putting in new seals with all the corrosion will only end in leaking pipes I'm sure So where do I go from here ? I have read about removing the ace systems altogether but as the car came with it I am inclined to keeping it original as the ace is very good when working well,
My question is can the block be repaired or is there a modification that I can get done to it.
Any help welcome

Given the cost of the modulator I don't reckon you would want to replace it with a new one! Best option might be to find someone who has disabled their ACE system and see if their modulator is usable.
Given the state of my pipes, the mod is probably no better than yours!

Get a spare off Ebay, dismantle (one valve is left hand thread)

Get it converted to use hydraulics fittings

Thank you all very much for suggestions
