Accelerator flat spot

Hi fellas , had my discovery td5 fitted with egr blanking plate and svs repair but when I drove it up the road has suddenly developed a flat spot at about two thousand revs , foot flat down and nothing for few seconds and then takes off at three and a half thousand revs ? Was not there before and thinking is electrical ? Will be going back but fore warned is fore armed !

Hi Paul , codes been read and result was that new air flow meter was fitted but no difference . Was fine before egr blank plate but that seems ok now . Am in Newlyn cornwall
