Anybody else with what engine, vehicle you know things like that. The grand kids have one of the friction drive things that you pull back and then let go. That hesitates sometimes if on the carpet if that helps. :D:D

Lol you'll get used to him hes like that sometimes but hes also one of the most knowledgeable guys on heer
As for your prob have you tryed running regular dead dinosaur for a bit

Sorry its a p38 2.5 manual 1998 model in green 16inch wheels running bio

O I can be as flipent as you pal

Bet you can't :D. Anyway as it's fly by wire, stick it on diagnostics and check the throttle pot outputs. You may have a fault code, fuel quantity error logged also. Only thing that can cause that is quantity servo not following throttle pot request for some reason.

Hi tuftey, I have the same problem with my p38 2.5 DT manual but it only happens now and again, I have been told that there is a sensor on the accelerator and also on the clutch that could be the problem, it's another job to do when I get round to it.

The switch on the clutch is for cruise control. There is a potentiometer on the throttle to signal throttle request to the ECU. Diagnostics are needed to check for malfunctions.
