Just about to do the shuttle valve mod and am stuck as I am not totally convinced which wire I am going to cut on the loom. Due to age it isn't clear which is the YG wire. Can someone tell me which PIN on the plug the earth wire goes to so I am sure. There seems to be another wire that looks yellow and grey?
Eyesight may be going but it isn't that bad.
Started snowing so probably not the best time to be doing this!!!
Hope you can help?

The YG wire is Yellow/Green (Grey wires/traces are called 'Slate' to avoid confusion with Green)

The YG wire is on Pin-9 of the ABS Modulator connector (connector 'face' shown, i.e. not the cable-entry side) -

Just the info I was after. Thanks for the speedy response. By the way - I have seen this info somewhere before but when you want it - can never find it! Is it in the RAVE download somewhere?
By the way - due to inclement weather I put everything back to try another day. Typical - driving in the slush and ice today has resulted in not one show of my three chums (AMIGOS). I expect they will re-appear again - they usually do. Will complete the fix when it's better weather.
Thanks again for the info.

The screen-grab of C0501 in my previous post is from RAVE.

If you don't already have RAVE, details of where to download a copy to suit either pre or post facelift DIIs, is here -

If you're being haunted by those annoying Mexicans and, before dismantling the ABS Modulator, try cleaning the both of the Modulator's connector's contacts and the earth points that its earths go back to?

This often works and keeps the amigos away.

I have the luxury of 2 shuttle valves to play with - a new one currently fitted and the replaced one which has been prepared for the re-routing of the earth wiring as per the excellent article we all know.
Do I take it you are suggesting the two earth connectors in the base of the modulator may just need a clean? I haven't removed the unit but just lever it up sufficiently to get the shuttle valve disconnected and out.
Sorry to be thick but the other earth connections apart - from the ecu (which I haven't dared to tinker with) - where are they?
Weather and lack of thermals is slowing any further work but I'm intrigued I may not need to do the mod.
I have RAVE already - just couldn't find the section you kindly provided - when stressed!!

If you refer to RAVE, you'll see that the ABS Modulator's earth goes back to a stud on the inner wing - C0561

The SLABS ECU's earth goes back to a stud under the LH side of the facia - C0362
