In another thread mentioned 3 amigos up again.
Fault code directed myself to rear right Abs no voltage.

Quickly checked the voltage on the wires up to the abs connector and it was 4.9v. Presumably 4.9v is in the right ball park. ?
Going to now change hub and sensor.

INPUT ABS
• Sensor - Front Right, Front Left, Rear Right, Rear Left: This shows the DC Voltage for the wheel speed sensor. Expected values are between 2.0 to 2.4 Volts. The wheel speed sensors are different to the conventional wheel speed sensors used on other Land Rover products. Conventionally, wheel speed sensors have an interference fit with the hub or back plate. This positions the sensor close to a reluctor ring. The sensors used on New Discovery series II are incorporated into the inboard wheel bearing, on both front and rear hubs. This bearing assembly is a sealed unit and has no replaceable parts. Also different is the wire from the wheel speed sensor. Land Rover has, historically used a wheel speed sensor employing a signal wire inside a shielded earth wire. The New Discovery series II wheel speed sensors have a twisted pair of wires. This offers some electrical advantages over two straight wires. Such as the signal being less susceptible to electrical noise or interference and it generates less electrical noise, the wires can also be balanced together (similar electrical properties) to ensure voltage losses are minimized. Like a conventional wheel speed sensor, the signal created is an AC sine wave. This wave is generated in the inductive sensor by a sixty-tooth reluctor, machined into the wheel bearing inner race. The frequency of this signal supplies the SLABS ECU with the information it needs to determine the speed of the individual wheels and is used in the calculation of vehicle speed or vehicle reference speed.

That fault code means that the ECU gets no return on that circuit as it sends 4.9-5V controll signal to the sensor and expects back 2-2.4V cos the voltage should drop on the sensor so if it doesnt get it means that the circuit is interrupted so in your case as you get the voltage in the plug the sensor is open circuit.
 
Thanks. As the ecu is sending out 5v then the fault is with the sensor.

No! It could just mean the sensor is unplugged. "open circuit" as @sierrafery said.
check each wire for continuity all the way from the sensor to the ECU. Before going to the trouble and expense of changing the hub.
Especially as you are using Nanocom which could be telling you the fault is with one sensor when in fact it is with the one on the other wheel. They are known for that!
So, to be on the safe side, disconnect the sensor wires for each hub in turn, where they connect under the wheel arch, to be sure that Nanocom is telling you the problem is occurring with the correct wheel, then do as above.
 
I removed the rear right wheel and disconnected the abs connector . It was one the two prongs here i recorded the 4.9v.
My question was really wether the 4.9v was correct as the other 3 sensors had lower voltage on the hawkeye live data.
Sierrafery explained it what the difference was and why the rear right was showing Ov on the fault code and live data.

Juke's mention of Nanocom threw me. Hawkeye don't suffer the same problem.
Have you measure the resistance on all four wheels hub sensors to see if they are all the same?

Anyway, if you've fixed the prob this is immaterial!:rolleyes:
