Right, after a lot of putting off.. I have had the instrument panel off...

Original problem...No ABS light at all
Bulb had been disconnected..re connected and now have ABS on all the time...Hooray! Another pointless thing to sort

Original Problem...No SRS light

Can't see where there is a bulb...must be LED in PCB.....but...
There is a YELLOW cable cut off and taped up!!??

Can anyone tell me what the YELLOW cable is coming off the loom behind the instrument panel?

Cheers

From memory to get at the srs light you need to remove the back of the cluster and the remove a small sub panel behind either the speedo or rev counter a haynes manual has the details, there is a plastic lens attached to the sub panel with 2 bulbs in, its doable in other words

My srs light comes on and goes out with the glow plugs :biggrin1::biggrin1: does not worry me as a 16 year old air bag prob wont work anyway, light needs to work to pass wof test in nz

If you leave the ignition on and the battery goes flat the srs light comes on and you have to get a dealer to reset no other option from what ive read

Sorry , its hill decent control . I was asking if your disco had it . I didn't even see the title of your thread I saw your question appear on lz live ,just after I had answered summat in freelander section . Something about hdc .

There is usually an SRS connection under the front seats . Could have come loose or got wet or might even be packed full of rust .

I don't belong in the disco section . :violent:
