Cleared faults again and consistantly this comes up:

one thing that does regularly is travelling up to 30 mph. So what is EBV
This is not an easy site to do image referrals, so apologies.
So what the fault is saying is 0xBD EBV function fault received from ABS ECU.
Can someone explain this please.

No nobody?
Perhaps looking at this logically if it speed that that is now triggering the faults up then the abs ecu says something has not given me messages , then the EBV function says to the abs ecu no signals and ecu flags the fault . Why does it not pick up on the individual fault.Having said that , the GAP Tool will not read live values so what would be blocking this ? ABS ecu at fault not passing on messages , which way would this work please .

The sensors produce a wave form created by passing the notches in the ring. A badly made sensor may produce an adequate waveform at low speed, but as speed increases the frequency of the wave form increases and the peak to peak value may diminish to a level that is insufficient to operate the ABS ECU input.

Upload images here. That way if a site (photobucket is prime example) decides to break the Internet, it won't affect these sites

Good POINT well presented. Hmm more money wasted!
I could claim my money back perhaps , from a well known uk company ?

Probably because it wasn't a link :)
It was meant as in this site.

Thanks didnt understand , will try your suggestion , but cant see options , sorry not good on this site , not completely computer savvy !

Ha ha I think I' ve got it.

No fault found with ecu , so 60 pound lighter and testing goes on !
Apart from a bulletin that I saw on repairing the wiring loom on a RR /L322 to the ABS multiplug, I didnt understand the method of physically dismantking the ABS PLUG attached .
Can anyone suggest a link on how you pull it apart, I need to check the pin connections inside. Am I missing something , Itried the two blue tabs and it aint budging !

Yes made a start to it , need warmer less windy weather , the solder taking too long to melt, hope this cures all my gremlins.

I have now replaced the plug and wiring harness and still getting faults, mainly susp/ebv function from ecu,hdc etc.
Now live values of speed sensors show in transfer case but not off abs ecu., but somehow they are signalling values. Steering angle calibrated fine.So back to the main faults and none of them clear.

I put on another diagnostic to double check things (lucky , lucky me having this!) haha. So this shows no abs faults, steering faults , or susp. faults.Only fault error is canbus , which ties in with GAP diagnostic. It also shows live speed values , all working.

After live values I went back in and I get three plausibility faults with wheel sensors . This is out of the blue and now putting GAP tool back in, it matches the VDO CONTYSCAN. One other fault which I dont know what its telling me, is a fault with a valve relay , can someone know what this is , it is not shown on abs wiring diagrams. Can this be my clue ?
