Recently had to replace front disc and pads. As ever, the caliper bolts were a right PITA to get off. Eventually had to remove bolts and brake pipe bracket from top swivel pin to get access to batter on an undersize socket. All back together, but! cannot get the ABS sensor to go fully home so that it is not getting any exciter voltage. It is proud by about 5mm. Trying to see down the abs hole, there is an obstruction near the bottom but have no idea what it is. I can see the hub rotating but this obstruction is fixed.
On top of this I have very bad oil leak from the swivel ball seal on the inside.
The hub was loose on the swivel ball when I was working on getting the hub off, have I not put it back together properly? Any suggestions out there? It is a TD5 defender.
