Hello All

I need to remove the old ABS sensor and fit a new rear ABS sensor.

My questions are

Is it an easy enough job to do or do need special tools etc?

How long timewise?

Cheers
Mell

Dunno bout the freelander but its easy enuff on discos, no special tools, rear 1/2 hour fronts 1 hr or so

Get Rave page 804 looks easy enuff...dont even need to strip anything down by the looks of it just unplug and unscrew

Copy and paste the pic then enlarge it

Any ideas please

Thanks

Mell

you are luck you have not had to take the stub axel apart to knock it out, i did with my old one whenyou put the new one back did you smear the white contact paste around the cage , also shove it fully home even a light tap (nothing heavy) and soon as you rotate the wheel the sensor will find its own gap.

Does it needed resetting on the freelander? Did you buy cheap sensors? cos they is crap imo

Not the cheapest on ebay but not the most expensive so should work Ha Ha!!!!!!!!

I don't know if it needs resetting i was hoping someone would tell me, so back for another diagnostic reading

cheers

Mell
