ABS Light stayes on if I reverse 1st

Hi to all, problems with my ABS again there is no fault code coming uop but if I reverse out of my drive then set off foraward the ABS lights stayes on, but if you switch engine off 1st or set off forward it is fine.

Anyone got any ideas?

When you turn thr ignition on does the abs light go on-off-on or does it just come on and stay on until you move off?
If it stays on then you have a fault code stored and need to find out what it is

It comes on then goes off and does its checking thing, then stays on till I move forward, but if I set off backward 1st to reverse out of my drive then forward the ABS light does not go off.

Oh and there is no fault code stored.

Sounds like you have a wheel sensor very slightly out of adjustment. Or it could be dirty on the end of 1 of the sensors. The cheapers way to start is to remove each sensor and clean in turn. Then try it and see what happens. If it was a sensor failing,you would have fault codes logged.
