ABS Fault Message

Is that a message or just the ABS light? the ABS light does not go out until you drive it.

FIRSTLY.... The ABS light will not go out until the vehicle reaches 7 MPH .. (I assume you've tried driving it up the road)
SECONDLY... as its bin stood fer 3 Months it may be just a Wheel sensor that "Gummed up" yer discs will be rusty from standing .....Take it for a run (2 or 3 Miles) & try it again

The ABS fault message comes up before the engine is started then goes away. I've just driven round the block and the yellow ABS light didn't go out. I had a feeling it might be a sensor - I can't drive it too far as it's got no MOT or road tax at the moment and knowing my luck I'll get pulled over! Hopefully going to take it for an MOT this week so will be able to give it a good run and see if it helps.

Do NOT take it for an MOT .... An ABS Light/Fault is an Instant Fail (You'll be wasting yer money) ...Get the ABS Sensor sorted first Then take it in for the MOT

Also dont try removing the bulb and take it for a test they will know
My brother tried that with a vectra
You could try it and tell them it has to go above 7mph to extinguish it
or book it for mot, somewhere 5-10 miles away
take it for a drive in that general direction and see if that cures the fault
if not go home again
at least the booked mot will cover you for driving on the road to the test centre
