Abs connection to Hawkeye

Why would you not get a connection reading for abs faults from a disco 2 with Hawkeye the problem is with the car ,tried the Hawkeye on another car & it works fine.

Yes, why bother? ... it's like you call 999 to ask for help then shut off the phone when somebody answers..... sorry but i can't guess your probem from your vague first post which means almost nothing to me, eventually read it again yourself and try to explain what's wrong

Hawkeye is stating no connection with this particular vehicle when trying to check for abs faults although the abs light is on . The Speedo only registers speed when hill descent switch is pressed I'm thinking both are unrelated ?

1. Only the ABS light is on alone?
2. the amber HDC and TC lights are working on ignition self test?
3. check fuse F28 interior fusebox and F11 engine bay

Checked fuses there ok

Abs light on press the suspension raise button & you get the TC & hill decent lights come on & the Speedo starts to work, but the TC & hill decent don't work with the ign light test.
The spring conversion was done along time ago but the abs light problem is recent.

I can't work with such kind of informations... first time you said the speedo works with HDC switch and now you say that with ORM... anyway this issue is very odd and a skilled electronist with tester who knows how the systems should work is needed cos measurements on the circuits would reveal things, IMO it can't be fixed on the forum

Found the problem by chance an earth connection under the dash passenger side all working correctly.

Was it loose or corroded?
