Hmm, ok.

so anybody know who can recondition this part, or even if there is a refurb kit available?

cheers.

What is wrong with it? the pressure switch is the usual failure item.
Your only real hope is a second hand pump from a breaker if the pump is dead.

hi, yes its the bushes that have gone.. if i give it a tap with a land rover multi-tool (hammer) it starts to build pressure then brakes work ok. Its been garaged and brakes checked. so i know its gone.

If it's just the brushes, it should be possible to replace them, brushes for many motors can be found on line and a near match can be trimmed to size. could still be the switch responding to your special tool.

Sorry to reply late here, just read this thread.
Mine went exactly the same way, tried the brushes. WABCO don't supply them..at all..! I measured up and got generic brushes and soldered them in but, the carrier is very fragile plastic and if the pump motor had been running constantly, (no pressure build up in sphere.?), then the heat makes the carrier U/S. eBay pumps are a gamble.ask me how I know..?

I spoke to a few chaps at WABCO a few years ago. For the modulator they don't even have the technical drawings left anymore. They went missing around 2010. So I am guessing even the spares are quite old now.

Yep..I looked everywhere. Seems they never would supply anyway unless you were in the business and you're right, this is an old setup so any workshop spares are probably gone.
