About to pick up my first Landy!

Hey everyone!

Just thought i'd pop in here and say hi!

I'm going to be picking up a 1973 Series 3 109" 3.5 v8 lpg.

I'm just about to do a search on this forum about where my landy fits in the model history. When i've done searches on the net, the first 109" model I could see was made in 1979/80. May be someone has swapped the engine out! It does say 3.5 v8 on the v5 though.

Anyway... I may be on here a fair bit in the future, so with the hello bit done, i'll leave it there!!

Here's a pic of me and my landy!

It was fun driving it home! I had to pick it up in Liverpool, and drove it to dunstable! The front doors kept popping open, the drivers window fell out agains my head, and the speedo didn't work! And boy is the steering heavy!!

That said, it is a blast driving it! It has a huge exhaust on it, that coupled with the 3.5cc v8 burbling away makes it sound great!

I have no idea! The only dials it has are for speed (which doesn't work), battery, fuel and temp.
