Head gasket blown on my MK1 freelander.(2003) had it skimmed and I have replaced it. can't get it to start. this is not what I want to do with my retirement and I have lost interest in the project. Question? is there any value in a half finished job and if so how do I go about realizing it? Any advise welcome.

L-series rule but my k series is Ace :)

mend it, flog it then buy a reliable nissan micra or such like
