Just been to peaks to find a popular lane blocked by an abandoned slitty .. police arrived just after we did as locals not happy with the idiot thrashin the lane at 2.30 this am..

Ya might wanna avoid for a bit..

I'm spelling this wrong on purpose so it cant be searched.

Haw lines cough...... :)

moved and set fire to with eny luck

Not quite but it did almost get rolled pulling it out at the end of the lane lmao after all that faffing about it only took about 30 mind to get shifted

When ya go up there just keep an eye out for the moody git that lives in the house half way up the lane he will probs come take photos or vids ( and won't share em lol)

Since that car that was stuck was left there at 02:30 I'm not suprised he is chossed off. And it sounds like his walls are getting knocked down too, I'd be fed up if I was being kept awake and left with work to do.

There is a notice on the village noticeboard (we had loads of time to kill waiting about) asking folk to notify plod if irresponsible off roaders are abusing the lane so there is obviously an issue.

It's a bugger that the ****s cause issues for folks trying to keep a low profile.

Could offer to rebuild wall and earn brownie points??

Been thinking about offering me services to repair some lanes , anyone got any idea who would be best to talk to , I can manage a normal brick wall or fence but never tryed a drystone , willing to learn tho .

f**king idiot.

Well done to you and your group for clearing up the mess.

As many others have posted, i'd be up for putting in the effort to maintain any lanes in Derbyshire... not got the dry stone walling skills.

I'm up for it .. labouring is probably all I can offer, or tea-maker, or gofer or just getting in the way!

I'm down for it depending when you do it... it was good fun pulling that piece of **** out I'll tell you that... not many people can say they've reversed up "hawe lines clough" lol
