Its allot better than the one on my other rebuild. I think the top corners have been done in the past. and the bit under the windscreen is gone in places. Foot wells don't look to bad, But I'll know more when I get the wings off.

I'm only replacing it because I've got a td5 one sat and waiting :D

I do like candy apple red. Although it's probably going to be a long time until I need to make that decision.

Oh and they'll be some pics on there way to you at some point this evening :)
 
So pulled the 90 out of the garage this morning to find this.
Looks like its coming out of the back of the hub. Was all down the tyre.
Smells like diff oil to me.
So what do we think? Rear hub seal.

Floor pans out. Amazing how much **** collects on top of the tank.

Next on the list was the wings. Something I was dreading was the wiring, I expected it to be a birds nest of crimps and added in wiring. And to my surprise I was actually very tidy :)

After that I got the seat box out and started unbolting the tub.

Slow progress but progress non the less :)

Need to start selling a few bits. I've already got rammel everywhere :eek:
 
Not as much done as I'd have liked. But that was mainly due to fitting this with my brother :)

If you're interested, I'm just taking off the standard height, standard rate 90 springs off mine, they look very new! And I also have a set of Heavy Duty standard height springs that need refurbing to look nice. Swap you either sets for the rocksliders?

Cheers for the offer Paul. Ill have a think. To be honest I quite like the look as it is with the lift and tyres. Just not sure its what I want from a daily driver.

Good to hear you enjoyed the last one :) Hopefully this one will be betterer :D

Nothing will be getting done until Sunday now, Cant wait for the light nights to come. At least I'll be able to have a couple of hours after work.
