Hi, I have a Freelander 2 2010 and my dash is like a Christmas tree (common thing I hear) does the Freelander 2 have a longitudinal sensor?? If so where my Haynes manual doesn't seem to show one. It was in the garage the other week after having an accident (lights on before the accident) the guys in the garage had the AA check the car to see if the accident caused the the lights to come on, they couldn't tell if the accident was the cause. They did say there was a fault with the longitudinal sensor. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

The Freelander 2 has several of these sensors, there are 2 visible when you lift up the bonnet, there are more in the vehicle sides and rear.
There are also several other accelerometers in the vehicle, which perform various functions.
However you need to have a proper diagnosis on all modules (there are about 20), so you can identify exactly what sensor is giving the issue.

Thanks for the reply, I'll book it in next week. Thanks again
