I would like to warn you about the garage i bought "betty" from back in november.
Reid Land Rovers have done nothing but lie and decieve.
A major issue has just turned up when i rang the warranty people trying to claim for a leaking rear axle. They sounded very puzzled on the phone and soon the manager came on. Sorry sir, but Reid Land Rovers have not been paying us for the warranties, leaving the customers to think that they have a warranty!! Trading standards have an extremely large list of issues with this garage!.
It started with first test driving the vehicle. "Does this vehicle have Traction Control/ABS option?" Oh yes sir, it does. Well please show me where it is then, because there are no dash lights and why do the wheels lock when i do this.... "ummmm.. But i thought all county's did, oh sorry sir, maybe it doesnt"
"This service book shows the last service was 20000 miles ago why was that when you have been using the vehicle personally while you've had it for sale?" But sir, td5's service's can be done at 20000" Well I've owned one for over a year, do i need to show you the manual and prove it to you? "oh, sorry sir. Maybe they do, but other than that it has been very well cared for?
"I've only been given one set of keys, where is the other set" Sorry sir, we were only given one set, but we can get you another, we will get back to you". Never got through on the phone, gave up after a month of trying!!
And another thing, they gave me the vehicle "fully serviced", well the engine oil was still black, ditto axles etc. looked like someone cleaned the filters, then sold it to ME. Well I have been extremely happy with the vehicle, mainly because it drove perfect, and i've given it some TLC and all oils changed within a few weeks of buying it, but that doesnt make up for the garage!
