Okay, I got a problem that has me scratching my head, let's see if anyone can put me out of my misery.

This week I started picking up a vibration in my 90 (2.5TD). Quite rough vibration, felt something like I had taked fifth instead of third but as I was pootling down the M1 at 60/65 it wasn't that.
My first though... UJs or props. Whipped them off, couldn't fel any problems but I am no mechanic, so took them to a local prop doctor who gave both props a clean bill of health.
While I had the thing in bits, I had a good swing on the axles, CVs... all the usual suspectsand no play at all anywhere. Replaced all front track rod ends and wheel bearings about two months ago so isn't that.
After all that it is slightly better now, the vibration is intermitent but there is no key that sets it off, just comes and goes.

I am completely flumoxed...... anyone got any ideas as to where to start looking next?

The only other thing I can think is this started after I filled up... maybe a bad batch of diesel??? but it feels more mechanical than fuel related

Thanks Redhand, I'll look at clutch plate, brakes were done about same time as bearings etc.

Any other ideas anyone?

Sounds like more than 1 thing out of balance. When both are in synch it gives you a massive vibration.
Could be 2 wheels out of balance slightly......
