I've just been sent this by my son who I taught a lot of his mechanical skill. And it made me feel good that us old buggers still have a bit to contribute. If you think you're smarter than the previous generation ...50 years ago the owner's manual of a car showed you how to adjust the valves. Today it warns you not to drink the contents of the battery ;):D.

Reminds me of a bottle of Sunoco oil I found in the boot of an american import, it said "not for human consumption" on it :D

    Wow who knew!! :D

There is a reason soap has instructions on it!

The 1985 diethylene glycol wine scandal was an incident in which several Austrian wineries illegally adulterated their wines using the toxic substance diethylene glycol (a primary ingredient in some brands of antifreeze) to make the wines appear sweeter and more full-bodied in the style of late harvest wines.

10 wines from Austria, Germany and Italy, most of them premium brands. Although the level of contamination is not considered toxic, officials urged Americans not to drink the wines.

@Dopey .yep,In West Germany, following a lengthy investigation, six former leading employees of the wholesale dealer and bottler Pieroth were sentenced to fines of one million Deutsche Marks by the Landgericht in Koblenz in April 1996.[
:mad:ive just bought a mixed crate of 13 bottles from pieroth , then they charged me again and sent another 13 bottles, cheeky b@stards took them 8 days to pay me back , so still up to their tricks !
wouldnt have mined but at £173 a time its not peanuts...:)

I don't know if you ever tasted antifreeze, but it does have a nice clean sweet taste, better than sugar, makes you blind as well
