Here's a handy way to get the commision paid to YOU rather than to the likes of gocompare / meerkats etc.

Still do your usual search on the net for the cheapest quote you can get but instead of buying it through the comparison site note which company the best price came from and then go to the quidco website (you'll need to open an account but it's free).
On quidco you then find the relevant insurance company, input all your details and the quote should come back exactly the same as the one you got off the search engine, then buy it.

The difference being that in a few weeks time maybe even a couple of months time you will get the commision paid into your bank that would have gone to those thieving furry bastards (simples).

In the last year or so I've had £150 back of them. I know it's not a lot but it's still in my pocket not theirs.:D

But you're paying the commission in the first place... you're paying yourself

that's exactly the point:rolleyes:

For example, on a comparison site the best quote for my wifes last policy was £171 from the co-op,

I purchased it through quidco and got £70 of it back.:D

I wouldn't have got that back if I'd bought it from the meerkats etc.

Get it?
