thanks
I know they are totally illegal to use in the UK unless you are an emergency service, garage or roadside assist setup moving a broken down car.
Saying that folk do it all the time, and particularly foreign motorhomes.
aye ok, with your years of experience and sponge like ability to soak up knowledge, armed with yer haynes eejuts guide ter towin, then yer must be right. all hail muddy the landrover. im gonna ask you next time i need to know anything "oh great font of wisdom"
Methinks your talking about a different A-frame.
A towing A-frame - you stick it on your tow bar and it tows another car/truck along behind it but because it has two fixed contact points it will "steer" the other car with it so you don't need a driver in the car being towed.

tis truly a piece of ****e but it came of an old seddie originally and is a heavy bit a kit,it used to be bolted to me patrol came in very handy for tugging as well as towing,if ya want it come and get itthats a posh one!!!
the pic you was just shown is the type you talking about! just an ancient piece of ****! if i could tow a LR with it though then i may take off your hands????
